What is drawing, Texturisation, Intermingling and Heat setting

3) Drawing: The process by which the yarn fiber is elongated by passing it through a semi-series pair of roller each pair moving faster than the previous on is call drawing.

Object of drawing:
1.      Increase strength.
2.      To reduce elongation at break.
3.      To orientation & Crystallinity.
4) Texturisation: Texturisation is the process by which flat filament are distorted to have crimps, coils, curls or loops along their length to achieve bulk and greater  absorbency.
Texture Yarn is:

5) Intermingling: The process by which can be made the synthetic yarn smooth by adding addition to protrude filament ends is called intermingling.
Way of Intermingling:
  1.       Spot welding: Heat treatment/adhesives are used.
  2.      Air Jet: composed air at high pressure.

5) Heat Settings: The process of imparting dimensional stability of fiber. Yarn fabric with cooling in dry and moist condition is called heat setting.

Objective:
1.      The make the yarn fabric fiber dimensional stable.
2.      The remove shrinkage of fiber.
Disadvantage:
  1.       The fiber becomes very stiff.
  2.       Uneven shade due to uneven heat set.
