 Effect of acid: Sulfuric acids breaks down the cellulose macro molecular at viscose produce hydro cellulose. 

1.       Effect of solvent: Good resistance to organic solvent
2.      Effect of alkali: Concentrated alkali cause swelling and reduce strength.
3.     Dye ability: Better affinity for dyes then cotton applied vat, direct sapphire.
4.      Flammability: Burns rapidly.
5.       Effect of Bleaching: Attacks by strong oxidizing.
