Effect of fiber properties on yarn strength:
1. Stable length: The strength from the fiber with long fiber length will be better even at law twist. But for shorter fiber yarn breakage increases. As a result more twist is required for sufficient strength in yarn.
2. Fiber strength: yarn strength will be higher for the fiber with good strength where as less for the fiber at low strength.
3. Fiber fineness: There are more number of fiber in cross-section area of yarn for fiber. As a result strength will be better due to more frictional force. But for the courser fiber yarn strength will be lower.
4. Fiber maturity: Yarn from natural fiber has more strength then from immature fiber because natural fiber has more strength then immature fiber.
