Properties required for fiber forming
Polymer:
a) Molecular
weight should be high.
b) TG
should be near to room temp. (TG: Glass transition temperature)
c) TM
200-300 is not suitable. (TM: Crystalline Melting Point)
d) Should
be hydrophilic.
e) Resistance
to different chemicals.
